-- Over the past week, there have been online rumors suggesting that Jim Ross is on his way out of AEW upon completion of his contract, which the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states is at the end of the year. The rumors have not been limited to online chatter as it has also been “going around among talent” for months with speculation being that AEW will replace Ross with Taz. President Tony Khan however denied the reports and noted that JR would be in his position for as long as he wants to be and that he has never mentioned to anyone about replacing him. Ross for his part tweeted that he knew nothing of this story and he also expressed his desire to continue in the role indefinitely.
