Tony Khan Says Women's Street Fight At AEW Rampage Will "Surely Stand Test Of Time" (Videos)


The first-ever Women's Tag-Team Street Fight in AEW will no doubt stand the test of time.

That is an opinion shared by Tony Khan.

Following the absolutely violent and bloody brawl that saw Anna Jay & Tay Conti emerge victorious over Penelope Ford & The Bunny on the AEW Rampage: New Year's Smash special event on TNT on Friday evening, the AEW President took to social media to react to the epic contest.

Khan thanked and congratulated all four women involved in the match before giving his own personal opinion of what will surely be a memorable match for all fans of AEW.

"Thank you [and] congratulations to all [four] women Anna Jay, Tay Conti, Penelope Ford and The Bunny for an incredible Street Fight on AEW Rampage," wrote Khan via his official Twitter page. "[It was] one of the most brutal wrestling matches ever on TV [and] will surely stand the test of time!"

The boss-man of All Elite Wrestling concluded his message by thanking the fans for spending their New Year's Eve by watching Rampage: New Year's Smash. "Thank you to everyone watching Rampage," he wrote.
