Tony Khan, "Smart" Mark Sterling Engage In Back-And-Forth Exchange On Twitter Ahead Of Rampage

Tony Khan and "Smart" Mark Sterling have been engaged in a back-and-forth war of words ahead of tonight's AEW Grand Slam: Rampage.

As noted, Josh Woods & Tony Nese, two of Sterling's talents, will be squaring off against WarJoe -- the team of Wardlow and Samoa Joe, in tag-team action.

Ahead of the showdown, the AEW President took to social media to hype the bout, which prompted a response from Sterling. This led to a back-and-forth between the two on Twitter.

"Tonight, the venue for "Smart" Mark Sterling's case v. powerbombing will be pro wrestling’s highest court: center court at Arthur Ashe Stadium at Friday Night AEW Rampage Grand Slam," Khan wrote.

Sterling replied, "Thanks so much for sharing our cause! However, I fear you might be a questionable judge in this matter, and the people of New York are most certainly an unworthy jury of peers for my “Athletic Angels” Tony Nese and Josh Woods."

Finally, Khan jumped on Twitter once again for another reply, which is where the war of words rests now.

"Nevertheless, tonight, Arthur Ashe Stadium will be the venue for your case, the people of New York will be the jury, and it’s entirely possible that the executioners will be WarJoe, the TNT Champion Wardlow + the ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe TONIGHT on AEW Rampage."
