Tony Khan took to social media on Friday to comment on the special time slot for AEW Rampage.
As noted, AEW Rampage airs tonight immediately after the NCAA March Madness game wraps up, which is expected to be at approximately 11:30pm Eastern Time / 8:30pm Pacific Time.
Regarding the time change for this week's one-hour AEW on TNT program, Khan wrote, "I’m excited for [AEW] Rampage after March Madness TONIGHT [at] about 11:30pm ET/10:30pm C/9:30pm M/8:30pm PT on TNT! Next week we’re back in our normal 10pm ET timeslot."
Regarding the AEW Rampage show going head-to-head with the Ring Of Honor Supercard of Honor pay-per-view in two weeks, Khan joked about possibly doing a "Ravishing" Rick Rude "facial hair stunt."
"In [two] weeks, I may do a Rick Rude facial hair stunt," he wrote. "[AEW] Rampage & [Ring Of Honor] Supercard [pay-per-view] are the same night Fri., 4/1/22!"
The Rick Rude "facial hair stunt" line is a reference to the memorable night during the WWE vs. WCW "Monday Night Wars" where "Ravishing" Rick Rude appeared with D-Generation X on a taped WWE Raw show with his trademark mustache, and with the New World Order on a live WCW Nitro show with a clean-shaven look at the same time.
