Tony Khan Talks "Shifting The Landscape Completely" With AEW, Injuries At AEW Full Gear? (Video)

All Elite Wrestling founder and president Tony Khan broke a bunch of news during his post AEW Full Gear media scrum on Saturday night.

Following a successful AEW Full Gear pay-per-view at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday, November 9th, AEW President Tony Khan took some time out to talk to members of the media in attendance about all things All Elite Wrestling.

In addition to announcing Hangman Page vs. PAC for AEW Dynamite, the AEW boss man also confirmed Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara vs. SoCal Uncensored for the AEW World Tag-Team Championships.

Additionally, Khan addressed the extremely gruesome and violent "Unsanctioned Lights Out" match between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega that closed out Saturday night's AEW Full Gear PPV.

"Everybody’s fine," said Khan regarding potential serious injuries coming out of a very physical AEW Full Gear PPV on Saturday night. "No serious injuries, thankfully. I’m really happy for them."

As far as the Moxley-Omega battle itself, which has generated a ton of buzz on the internet and on social media due to the extremely physical nature of the contest, Khan offered the following thoughts.

"It was pretty gruesome. I was very concerned for both guys because they are obviously two of the biggest stars not just two of the biggest stars in AEW but two of the biggest stars in wrestling," said Khan. "We were concerned about it for sure but it was a great match and we’re really happy with it."

During the media scrum Khan also addressed the new "Wednesday Night Wars" that have broken out in the pro wrestling industry, with AEW Dynamite and WWE's NXT On USA going head-to-head from 8pm Eastern Time to 10pm Eastern Time every Wednesday night on TNT and the USA Network, respectively.

"We’ve shifted wrestling," Khan said. "Wednesday night is the night to watch wrestling now. Think of what we’ve done in a year. We’ve done a few of the best pay-per-views I’ve ever seen and what we’ve done for TV has shifted the landscape completely."
