During this past weekend's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event special, Undisputed WWE Champion "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes successfully defended his title against "The Scottish Warrior" Drew McIntyre. Rhodes secured his victory by delivering a DDT onto McIntyre using the championship title after McIntyre had brought it into the ring.
Although Rhodes' tactic was somewhat questionable, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque saw no problem with it and took to his Twitter (X) account to comment on the significant win.
This is what Triple H wrote, “A true champion always finds a way to win. Congrats @CodyRhodes! #SNME”
There is currently no information regarding who Cody Rhodes may defend his title against next, but updates will be provided as they become available. His title reign has lasted 91 days since he won the championship from John Cena at SummerSlam.
WWE's next significant Premium Live Event (PLE) is Survivor Series, where Rhodes may defend his title. This event is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
