Top WWE NXT UK Star WALTER Announced For wXw's 21st Anniversary Show

An announcement was recently made by Germany’s wXw that top WWE NXT UK Star WALTER is set to make his return to the promotion on Saturday, December 18 for their 21st Anniversary Show at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany, when he takes on current PROGRESS Unified World Champion Cara Noir in Singles action.

WALTER really made a name for himself on the wXw promotion as he is a former 3-time wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion and a former 4-time wXw Tag Team Champion with four different partners. He is also a former head trainer at the wXw Wrestling Academy. wXw has a close working relationship with the WWE and wXw programming has been aired on Peacock and the WWE Network.

This is WALTER’s first match with wXw since March 2020, when he teamed with Daisuke Ikeda in a losing effort to Timothy Thatcher and Yuki Ishikawa. WALTER last appeared for the WWE broadcast last August, when he lost the WWE NXT UK Championship to Ilja Dragunov at NXT TakeOver 36. The loss ended WALTER’s record-breaking 870-day title reign.

There is no word yet on if WALTER will stay with WWE NXT UK or if he will move to the main NXT brand, or perhaps even to the WWE main roster as fans have been speculating WALTER's jump to the main roster but he did not want to move to the United States in the past due to his family, though WALTER and his wife are now separated and he is dating fellow NXT UK Star Jinny.
