There were reports that stated that the WWE has “quietly” signed top WWE Star Becky Lynch to a brand-new contract with the company a few weeks back. It was even noted that there was talk of having Lynch making her return at WrestleMania 37 and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon hoping to have her back by Mania. There were even plans of having Lynch do a Singles Match against Ronda Rousey, but that match may not happen until next year at the earliest as Rousey is currently pregnant with her first child.
Lynch reportedly signed her last contract with the company back in 2019, which included a significant raise after she became the top Star in the company and was referred to as The Man. It was revealed at the time that Lynch’s new contract was worth $1 million per year.
Lynch has been out of action since she retained the RAW Women’s Championship over one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, due to her first pregnancy. She and Seth Rollins welcomed their first child together in December of last year, a baby girl.
There is no word yet on the terms of Lynch's new contract with WWE, but since she is considered to be one of the biggest names and Stars in history, it’s likely that WWE locked her in for at least 3 more years and for more money. There is also no word on when she will be back in action, but WWE President Nick Khan said in early April that she will be “coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future.”
