Top WWE Star Looks Back On 8 Years In Pro Wrestling, Says Wrestling Saved Her

WWE Women's United States Champion Giulia recently took to her official Twitter (X) account to celebrate her eight-year anniversary in professional wrestling. She shared how wrestling saved her during a time when her life felt directionless, expressing her deep love for the sport. Giulia also conveyed her gratitude for every experience she has had in pro wrestling, while emphasizing that her journey is ongoing and there is still much more for her to accomplish.

This is what Giulia wrote, “8 years since I first stepped into the ring… Wrestling saved me when my life was going nowhere. I’m still on my journey… there’s so much more to do, and I’ll keep climbing higher‼︎ I love wrestling with all my heart. 💙🔥 Every step, every challenge, every cheer and even every boo😈 I’m grateful for it all‼︎”

Giulia made her professional wrestling debut on October 29, 2017, for Ice Ribbon. She teamed up with Takako Inoue but lost to Nao DATE and Totoro Satsuki. Since then, she has competed in promotions such as STARDOM and NJPW, among others.

In April 2024, Giulia joined WWE. During her time with the company, she won the NXT Women’s Title before transitioning to the main roster. She is currently the WWE Women’s United States Champion and has held the title for 125 days.
