Current WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton was scheduled to team up with Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer from Monday Night RAW in a 6-Woman Tag Team Match against Fatal Influence (WWE NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx) at tomorrow's NXT Homecoming special. However, it has been revealed that she is not medically cleared to compete.
NXT General Manager Ava announced on her Twitter (X) account that Stratton is unable to participate following her match against Jade Cargill on Friday's SmackDown, during which she received an Annihilator from Nia Jax after the match had concluded. As a result, Lyra Valkyria will be stepping in to take Stratton's place.
This is what Ava wrote, “After her WWE Women’s Championship Match on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton is not medically cleared to compete at Homecoming. As a result, former NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria will be taking her place in the six-woman tag team match against Fatal Influence.”
