Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) recently released their 33rd annual top 500 professional wrestlers in the world list and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins secured the #1 position. The rankings for PWI's 500 list of top pro wresters in the world are based on criteria that includes win-loss record, titles they have won, quality of competition, major feuds, overall wrestling ability and prominence within a wrestler’s promotion.
Rollins, who previously ranked #1 in 2015 and 2019, is featured on the cover with his former brothers in The Shield – Undisputed WWE Universal Champion "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns, who secured the #2 position and AEW International Champion Jon Moxley, who secured the #3 position.
This year's top 10 professional wrestlers in the world includes 4 wrestlers from the WWE, 3 wrestlers from AEW, 1 wrestler from NJPW, 1 wrestler from IMPACT Wrestling and 1 wrestler from AAA.
