It's official -- Trevor Lee is a contracted WWE talent.
Lee confirmed the news during a post-match promo at the CWF Mid-Atlantic show on Saturday night in Gibsonville, North Carolina. After announcing via Twitter on January 1st that he was officially a free agent, Lee updated fans on his status during the promo, noting he is no longer a free agent as of this week.
From there, Lee announced that he has signed a contract with WWE, leading the fans in attendance to break out in "You Deserve It!" chants.
He went on to inform the fans that he will not be leaving the promotion just yet. He confirmed he won't leave until he loses his hard-earned CWF Mid-Atlantic Championship. He then announced he will be defending the title in a Six-Pack Scramble Match at the "CWF: Stronger" event on February 2nd.
There have been rumors about Lee signing with WWE dating back to his Impact Wrestling departure back in November of 2018.
