Triple H Reportedly Back in Creative Control of WWE Raw & Smackdown

-- It appears things have taken a turn for the better on both of WWE's flagship shows - Raw and Smackdown - with perhaps a change at the top of creative. First reported by pwinsider.com, Paul "Triple H" Levesque seems to be largely directing creative again with Vince McMahon stepping back out of the picture leading to a a morale boost backstage.

-- Fightfulselect.com corroborates this report, noting that while talent has not been specifically told this, there is a "prevailing belief within the company" that McMahon isn't running things and there is a significant boost in optimism lately compare to the past eight months since Vince returned to the company. One of the changes that began happening when Vince bullied his way back into WWE early in 2023 is late changes to show scripts that he would always call in remotely often on very short notice. The report notes that over the last few weeks, many of these "late changes" have disappeared starting on or about the September 25 episode of Raw.

-- One WWE official observed major changes that weren't happening under McMahon's leadership such as Johnny Gargano returning despite being medically cleared for months, Tegan Nox getting on TV, Dragon Lee all over the program and Carlito's return also taking place even though he was signed months ago. Other observations include Cameron Grimes getting back on TV, Bronson Reed winning matches while title matches (IC, tag team) are getting long matches to end Raw which the official believed was too much of a coincidence.
