It was previously announced that ROH is set to hold their second PPV Event under the ownership of AEW President and CEO Tony Khan on Saturday, July 23 from the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. On last night's episode of AEW Dynamite, two matches were made official for ROH's Death Before Dishonor.
It was announced that ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe will defend his championship against Jay Lethal in a standard ROH World TV Championship Match. This comes after months of heinous attacks from Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal on Samoa Joe and a back and forth between Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal. ROH's Death Before Dishonor will also see ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta of the Blackpool Combat Club put his ROH Pure Championship on the line against Daniel Garcia of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
