Update On Bald Mystery Man Added To The Nightmare Collective On AEW Dynamite This Week

During the AEW Women's World Championship match on this week's AEW Dynamite show in Southaven, MS., reigning title-holder Riho was up against challenger Kris Statlander as Brandi Rhodes sat at the announcer's table giving quick-quips about the match-up.

Mid-match, Brandi excused herself from her role as guest commentator after Awesome Kong interrupted the match with Melanie Cruise trailing closely behind her.

As Brandi stood ringside beside Kong, a bald mystery man crawled out from beneath the ring, unbeknownst to Statlander until she was suddenly stopped from punching Brandi. The mystery man held tight, giving Kong the ability to clothesline Statlander. The Excalibur declared the mystery man was, "Japanese wrestling deathmatch legend Luther."

Luther, the semi-retired professional wrestler, made his debut on AEW last night (though he had made a brief appearance a few weeks ago during a segment with Brandi where his face was covered).

With his tongue wagging and freshly shaved head, Luther was revealed as the newest member of the "Nightmare Collective," which is a faction led by none other than Brandi Rhodes.

The real name of the pro wrestling veteran is Len Olsen, though he has fought under the names "Lenny St. Clair", "The Japanese Death Match Legend", and his most well-known alias, "Dr. Luther."

Olsen has made appearances in Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, WAR and IWA Japan in the mid 1990's.

Twitter and Instagram were buzzing with comments and pictures of the AEW newcomer who is now the fourth member of the Nightmare Collective group. Even "Le Champion" himself, AEW World's Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, took to Instagram to give a tip of the cap to the journey Luther took to get to All Elite Wrestling.

"Wait until the world sees what this lunatic can do," Jericho claimed.

A couple Twitter and Instagram posts highlighting Luther's debut can be viewed below. For complete AEW Dynamite: Anniversary Edition results from the 1/8 episode from Southaven, MS., click here to read our report right here at Rajah.com.
