Update On Former WWE Senior Writer Joining AEW, Details On Her Role In The Company

-- Former WWE creative Jennifer Pepperman, who left the company on her own accord just earlier this month, already has a new, higher ranking role lined up and it's with Tony Khan's AEW.

-- Sports Illustrated was the first to report that Pepperman is set to join AEW as their new VP of Content Development, working alongside Khan where her primary responsibility will be development of content for live programming. Pepperman is a three-time Daytime Emmy Award winner for her work with soap operas.

-- In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Pepperman focused on the women's division while in WWE and was especially close to the former Sasha Banks, who now wrestles as Mercedes Mone and expected to debut with AEW next month. Pepperman decided to leave WWE on her own citing her desire for a change.
