s previously reported, NXT Stars Scarlett and Shotzi Blackheart reportedly worked a dark match prior to last night's SmackDown in front of WWE officials so that they can get a closer look before the WWE Draft takes place later this year, but an opponent was not named at the time. It was mentioned in the update that was recently provided that Scarlett and Shotzi actually wrestled each other, but there is no word yet on who won the match.
It was also indicated by PWInsider.com that prior to last night's SmackDown show NXT Champion Karrion Kross worked another dark match, when he faced Slapjack, who was part of RETRIBUTION. There's also no word yet on who won the Karrion Kross vs. Slapjack Match.
NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed and NXT Champion Karrion Kross worked the Main Event tapings prior to RAW this past Monday night in front of WWE officials as well. Bronson Reed and Karrion Kross also worked dark matches prior to last Friday’s episode of SmackDown, which were reportedly taped for evaluation.
This year's WWE Draft is set to take place on the August 30th episode of WWE Monday Night RAW as well as the September 3rd episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, with these four WWE NXT Superstars in the forefront of being called-up to the main roster. There is no word yet on if the WWE will keep Karrion Kross and Scarlett together as she did not accompany the NXT Champion last Monday night on RAW during the WWE Main Event tapings.
