Update On Velveteen Dream's WWE Release

On Thursday, reports began to surface that former WWE NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream had been released from WWE.

During the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez mentioned that there were problems between Dream and WWE officials, stemming from sexual misconduct allegations against him. Alvarez also stated that there were “behavioral issues” with Dream.

The reason for Dream’s release, who’s real name is Patrick Clark Jr., is likely because of the “behavioral issues” rather than the allegations made against him. WWE executive Triple H said the claims thrown in Velveteen Dream’s direction were investigated, but company officials “didn’t find anything.”

As of this writing, Clark’s release hasn't been publicly confirmed by WWE.
