WWE posted a series of cryptic videos on X over the weekend and into this morning, triggering speculation that the company was teasing the return of a former star or perhaps the debut of a brand new one.
However, it appears none of that is accurate and the videos aren't previewing a return at all.
Both pwinsiderelite.com and the WrestleVotes account are reporting that the clips are related to WrestleMania 42 promotional material and that the full promo will be revealed soon, perhaps even as early as today. Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were believed to be at WWE offices last week filming this material.
