As previously reported, there were online reports stating that WWE is planning to hold a Queen of the Ring tournament sometime this year and that it will feature stars from the main roster, but a date of when the tournament will take place was not revealed then. It was also reported that the show will be a special event set to air on peacock.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast noted that the WWE Queen of the Ring tournament is currently set to begin on the October 8th SmackDown episode, then continue on the October 11th RAW episode. The WWE Draft is set to take place either on the October 1st episode of SmackDown and the October 4th episode of RAW or the October 4th episode of RAW and the October 8th episode of SmackDown, which means WWE is holding the Queen of the Ring tournament after the WWE Draft.
The October 4th episode of RAW will reportedly be the season 30 premiere episode, so it’s likely that the WWE Draft will take place on the October 1st SmackDown episode and the October 4th episode of RAW as the Queen of the Ring tournament will begin on the October 8th SmackDown episode.
There is no word yet on when the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament will take place, but once updates are available, it will be provided. Back in 2018, WWE held their first-ever all-women's Event called Evolution, which was headlined by then-RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey facing Nikki Bella in a RAW Women's Championship Match.
