Update On WWE Being "Hesitant" To Put New Title On Seth Rollins, Big Plans For Night Of Champions

WWE is reportedly "hesitant" to put the new World Heavyweight Championship on Seth "Freakin'" Rollins.

That was the rumor making the rounds within the internet wrestling community earlier this week, and on Tuesday, an update on this story surfaced.

Twitter insider @BoozerRasslin returned with a big rumor regarding the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Finals and an overall "surprising WWE Night Of Champions 2023" premium live event later this month.

“To clear all the commotion, [there has been] no decision on who’s winning the [WWE World Heavyweight Championship]," he wrote of the rumors of WWE being "hesitant" to put the new title on Rollins. "Seth is the number one guy for [Triple] H, but the story is what matters."

The report would go on to allude to some surprising events transpiring at the month-end WWE Night Of Champions 2023 premium live event on May 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

"I said it a while back, [WWE has] plans to fill the void that [Roman] Reigns will leave soon with other huge names," he continued. "So expect a surprising [WWE Night Of Champions 2023]. It will be great, trust me.”
