You can officially pencil in a new match for the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Drew McIntyre followed up his return in the 30-man Royal Rumble match with a promo on this week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. During the promo he revealed that he was told by doctors that he would not be able to make it back to the ring in time for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and that he likely wouldn't be ready to return from injury by WrestleMania 38 in April either.
"The Scottish Warrior" followed up by saying he told the doctors that they could kiss his ass and immediately got to work on his recovery. He says the Royal Rumble match didn't go as planned, and says he owes Brock Lesnar one, noting they are now one-to-one.
From there, Madcap Moss tried to attack McIntyre from behind, only for McIntyre to get the better of things by taking him out with a Claymore Kick. He then vowed to make Happy Corbin's life a living hell each week, noting this was only the beginning.
WWE shared photos after the segment that showed Capp bleeding a bit backstage after being cut from the Claymore Kick delivered by McIntyre. They also confirmed that Drew McIntyre and Madcap Moss will be going one-on-one at the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
