Updated WWE Smackdown Lineup: Two New Segments Announced, Advertised Match Changed

WWE came out with an updated Smackdown preview for tomorrow's show and it featured two new segments and a change to one of the previously advertised matches.

Randy Orton is set to appear live on the show with WWE hinting that he will set his sights on another superstar to target following his recent attacks on Cody Rhodes and Matt Cardona. Orton is set to face Rhodes at WrestleMania 42 for the WWE Undisputed Title.

Also announced is a segment with Smackdown GM Nick Aldis, who is promising to provide an update on the status of both Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre after they plummeted off of a "high steel structure" at the end of last week's show. While not official yet, Fatu and McIntyre are expected to wrestle one another at WrestleMania 42 in some sort of gimmick match.

Finally, in a quiet yet significant change the previously announced United States title match is no longer for the title as champion Giulia will still wrestle Tiffany Stratton but in a non-title match. Interestingly, the US title hasn't been defended in nearly three months even though Giulia has been active during that period.

Below is the updated lineup:

  • Who will Randy Orton attack next?
  • Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. The Bella Twins
  • Nick Aldis will provide an update on the condition of Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre
  • Jelly Roll vs. Kit Wilson
  • Giulia vs. Tiffany Stratton (Non-title match)
