Valerie Loureda, Triple H Comment On Bellator MMA Women's Contender Signing With WWE


As noted, Bellator MMA women's contender Valerie Loureda has signed with WWE.

Following the news going public on Wednesday afternoon, both Loureda and WWE executive / legend Paul "Triple H" Levesque surfaced on social media to comment on the signing.

"An incredibly driven young woman working hard in sport and business to make a name for herself and her family," wrote Triple H. "Cannot wait to have Valerie start training at the @WWEPC and make her impact in WWE NXT! Welcome to WWE!"

Loureda also chimed in on Twitter to comment on the signing.

"I am honored to become the first Cuban American woman in history to sign with the WWE," she wrote. "I come from a family of immigrants, now it’s my time to represent our Latin culture, I was destined for this."

The women's MMA fighting star continued, "Thank you for this opportunity WWE / WWE NXT. I will make you proud. AZUCAR! #305."
