WWE WrestleMania 42 made its debut on ESPN over the weekend, with the first hours of both Night One and Night Two simulcast on ESPN2 and ESPN. According to Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, Night One on Saturday averaged 1.62 million viewers on ESPN2, while the first hour of Night Two on Sunday averaged 1.82 million viewers on ESPN.
Additionally, the one-hour countdown show that aired on ESPN2 on Saturday attracted an average of 676,000 viewers, while the countdown show on Sunday on ESPN garnered 750,000 viewers. Besides these simulcasts, WrestleMania 42 was also available on the ESPN App for Unlimited tier subscribers in the U.S. and streamed internationally on Netflix.
These were the TV ratings for the WrestleMania simulcasts on ESPN2 (Saturday) and ESPN (Sunday). Note these numbers do not include everyone who was watching on the ESPN Unlimited streams, which had the whole shows both nights. @FOS
