Viewership Numbers For The July 12th WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Special

WrestleNomics reports that this past weekend's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event special, which aired on NBC, attracted an average of 1.425 million viewers and achieved a rating of 0.33 in the key 18-49 demographic. However, viewership data for Saturday Night’s Main Event on Peacock is not publicly available.

This represents a 27.63% decrease from the special on May 25th, which drew 1.969 million viewers, and a 38.89% drop from that event's rating of 0.54 in the same demographic. Despite this decline, the show led the ratings for the key 18-49 demographic on Saturday night and ranked eighth in viewership for primetime programming, with the MLB game on Fox having the highest viewership at 1.991 million.

The event was headlined by WWE World Heavyweight Champion "The Ring General" GUNTHER, who defended his title against WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg in what was billed as the Hall of Famer’s retirement match. GUNTHER ultimately won the match via submission, bringing an end to Goldberg’s legendary career.
