Wardlow Says He's Surprised AEW Fans Have Bought Into MJF's Nice Guy Act

Wardlow isn't buying into MJF's nice guy act.

The former TNT Champion spoke with Sports Nightly for an interview recently, during which he spoke about the horrific things MJF has done in the past and how he's too smart to fall for his nice guy act in AEW right now.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where he touches on this topic with his thoughts.

On being surprised at AEW fans buying into MJF's fake tears after the horrific things he has done in the past: "I understand in the past 4 months, he has somehow convinced everybody in the world to cheer for him, and feel sad for him and sorry for him. It just amazes me how somebody can do horrible, evil things for years, and then they come out and say sorry and spew out some fake tears. Now all of a sudden everybody forgets about all the bad they have ever done and they want to embrace him."

On how he is too smart to fall for MJF's antics: "Well, I’m a little more intelligent, I see right through his BS. And I’m not one of the people that have sat at home cheering on MJF for the past four months."
