Wednesday Night Ratings: AEW Dynamite Scores Decisive Win Over NXT in Viewership, Key Demo
-- This week's viewership and ratings for the Wednesday night wrestling shows was released yesterday and AEW Dynamite not only once again won the 18-49 demographic handily, but the show reversed a short three-week trend by defeating WWE's NXT show in total viewership as well. In terms of total audience, Dynamite was watched by 788,000 - its highest figure since May, while NXT slumped to only 631,000 - its lowest in two months. The 18-49 demographic saw Dynamite once again stamp its authority with a 0.29 rating to finish fourth overall among cable shows; NXT tumbled to a 0.14 rating, putting it just inside the top 50 at #49 position. Alarmingly, NXT's male 12-34 rating was 0.02, the lowest on the night by far among shows in the top 50 and trailing well behind Dynamite's 0.20 in that same demo. As is the case almost every week, the only demo that NXT won was adults over 50.
