The main event of last night's St. Patrick's Day Slam episode of AEW Dynamite saw Thunder Rosa defeat Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. in a Steel Cage Match to become the new AEW Women's World Champion. After the show ended, an emotional Thunder Rosa embraced her family and friends, who were in the audience. Rosa would even get a special ring entrance prior to the match.
At one point in the match, Rosa would even paid homage to WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin by hitting a Stone Cold Stunner on Britt Baker, which fans pointed out was a 3:16 Day tribute. San Antonio, Texas, which was the site of last night's AEW Dynamite, was even referred to as Rosa's “adopted hometown” on a number of occasions by commentary.
Multiple AEW talents as well as WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman congratulated Thunder Rosa on her huge victory, which can be seen below, along with a video of highlights from the match:

Thunder Rosa’s always been a hustler. In & out of the ring, you don’t have to be close to her to see that. It’s very obvious. I have so much respect for her, proud of her, & she did our culture proud. ¡Viva México! Felicidades, Thunder.
