Following their first-time-ever showdown in the main event of this week's AEW Dynasty 2024 "go-home" episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS from Indianapolis, IN., Will Ospreay took to X to offer high praise for Claudio Castagnoli.
"For the longest time I’ve wondered what it would be like to challenge Claudio Castagnoli," Ospreay wrote. "He is without any doubt the strongest guy I’ve faced in wrestling. And it was an absolute pleasure testing myself against him before my bout with Bryan."
Ospreay continued, "Thank you for the challenge [and] thank you Indianapolis for housing me!"
Will Ospreay goes one-on-one with another member of the Blackpool Combat Club this Sunday, as he battles Bryan Danielson in one of the featured bouts at the AEW Dynasty 2024 pay-per-view in St. Louis, MO.
