It was previously reported that according to NJPW Will Ospreay suffered a neck injury last May 4, and he had no choice but to relinquish the IWGP Heavyweight Title.
In an update, NJPW Star Will Ospreay took to his Twitter and revealed that after further testing he's being referred for another MRI on his lower back and that things are not looking good, but he is very determined to comeback this year.
He wrote, “Had my physio pop over the house today & after further digging, I’m now being referred for another MRI on my lower back as well for fears I may have the same issue in my neck. Things ain’t looking good, but I’m determined to comeback this year. Thanks for all the support.”
