Will Ospreay is ready to travel the globe as a full-time AEW competitor.
During a recent appearance on AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland's official podcast, "Swerve City," Ospreay spoke about the goals he has in AEW, how he's challenging himself, and his belief that the best way AEW can grow is to travel the world and put on shows everywhere.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where he touches on these topics with his thoughts.
On what goals he has in AEW and how he's challenging himself: "I’m a guy that enjoys to see the world, I love doing that. Coming over here, obviously I bring a little bit of flavor in from around the world. But I don’t want to forget about what made me. My main goal is honestly I want to take AEW everywhere, man. I want to do shows in Tokyo, I want to do shows in Osaka, I want to do shows in Sydney. I want to go to Melbourne again. I want to do shows in Dublin."
On how the best way AEW can grow is by traveling the world: "I know who I am as a human being, but I still believe that is because of everything that I’ve done -- every single person that I’ve met, every fan that I’ve ever shook hands with, every wrestler that I've ever gone and wrestled. I believe the best way that AEW can grow is by traveling and wanting to do more pay-per-views out in like Japan, Mexico, Canada, England, Europe, everywhere. That’s my goal with AEW."
