Will Ospreay recently appeared as a guest on Chris Jericho's "Talk Is Jericho" podcast for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.
During the discussion, "The Aerial Assassin" revealed what "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair told him when he met the WWE Hall of Fame legend backstage after his match at the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.
"He came backstage," Ospreay began. "My ass was killing me. I came back and I planted myself down and I was crying."
Ospreay continued, "He went, ‘Mr. Ospreay’, and he took my hand. I looked up and it was Ric. I stood up and I was like, ‘Yes, sir.’ He was like, ‘You are everything I’ve heard of and more. You’re the best guy here right now."
