-- AEW star Will Ospreay fired back at WWE CCO Paul "Triple H" Levesque during Wednesday's Dynamite. In an interview with Renee Paquette, Ospreay went at Triple H's comments last week when he talked about wrestlers choosing to sign with other promotions because of a lighter schedule, concluding that they aren't in it for the grind.
"When I see people that come out of trying to make it and then they pick the job where they go, "Well, they work less, the schedule is lighter...alright, then I'm glad I didn't get you because if you're not in it for the grind at that point early in your your career, you have no business being here."
-- While Triple H didn't mention AEW or Ospreay by name, the standout wrestler clearly took offence, stating that HHH has no room to talk being in the position he is due to his relationship with his boss' daughter:
"I am delivering some of the best professional wrestling matches this world has ever seen, bruv. And normally I wouldn't rise to this type of bait. But seeing as the guy that said it is only in the position he is in because he was grinding on the boss' daughter. You are in no position to tell me what the grind is all about my friend because you have no idea what I fight for. So let this be a painful little jab back and a gentle reminder, that you do not throw stones at an assassin with a machine gun."
