Former WWE Star and current All Elite Wrestling Star William Regal recently spoke with the Manchester Evening News on a variety of topics such as how he has never felt an atmosphere much like he did when the WWE held their WWE NXT UK TakeOver shows in Blackpool, England.
William Regal said:
“I’m staying out of wrestling except for what I’m doing. I’ve heard rumors that we’re [AEW] coming to England but I have no idea. Anybody who were at the Blackpool NXT UK shows know how special those shows were and the atmosphere… I’ve never felt an atmosphere like it.”
William Regal also spoke about how he hopes to do something with The Blackpool Combat Club in England at Bloomfield Road.
William Regal said:
“It was like nothing I’ve ever felt because of the acoustics of the Empress Ballroom, the chanting and everything else. It would be nice to go back with the Blackpool Combat Club or maybe we could do Bloomfield Road, I don’t know, why not?”
