NXT General Manager William Regal issued a short statement on Twitter yesterday providing a medical update following last year's open heart surgery. Regal writes that he's feeling healthier than ever, and plans on remaining as dedicated to the yellow-and-black brand. He writes, "1 year ago today I had open heart surgery to remove a calcified pericardium. Just wanted to get that out as I’m healthy and fit as a butchers dog now. Just wanted to get that out as I’m dedicated to my family and NXT. Please don’t reply, it’s just life."
