An interesting name and wrestling veteran was backstage at WWE's NXT show this week.
Fightfulselect.com is reporting that former TNA stalwart and wrestling legend Gail Kim was spotted at NXT. Apparently this is not the first time Kim has been there lately fueling speculation that perhaps she has joined WWE in some capacity. When asked if she's officially with the company, sources within WWE denied that to be the case as of this moment.
Kim was essentially fired by TNA Wrestling earlier this year amid their major leadership shakeup but given her reputation and experience, she received immediate interest from other promotions and had people internally in both WWE and AEW push for management to bring her in. While WWE has kept her presence backstage very quiet, the fact that she is there clearly shows that they are interested in having her join the team.
