Wrestling News: AEW Star Resumes Training, Brooke Hogan Talks Hulk Death, Japanese Star Passes Away

AEW star Eddie Kingston has resumed in-ring training as he recovers from a devastating leg/knee injury that has sidelined him since May of 2024. He remains out indefinitely.

A veteran of the Japanese wrestling industry - Tomohiko Hashimoto - has passed away at the relatively young age of 47 after a battle with liver cancer. Pro Wrestling A-Team, a promotion that he founded, announced the news. Hashimoto was first diagnosed with cancer in 2024 and underwent successful treatment at the time, but announced in May that the cancer had returned.

Brooke Hogan, the daughter the late legendary great Hulk Hogan, phoned into the Bubba the Love Sponge show to chat about her father's passing. During the convo, she revealed her decision to ask to be removed from Hogan's will due to not wanting to be involved in any ensuing financial battle that would involve Hogan's current wife and ex-wife (Brooke's mother) after he died.
