Wrestling legend Owen Hart tragically passed away on Sunday, May 23rd, 1999, which the wresting world clearly remembers. A number of wrestling legend and stars recently took to their Twitters to remember and pay tribute to Owen for everything he has done for the business.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley posted a photo of himself, fellow WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk and Owen, while AEW Star Matt Hardy explained why Owen Hart was “ahead of his time” as a performer.
We also saw The Bollywood Boyz post a picture of themselves waiting in line to meet Owen and Foley at an autograph signing in 1998. Former WWE Superstar Marc Mero then posted a rare photo of himself with Owen, Triple H, Steve Austin, Jim Ross, Goldust and Terri Runnels at the WWE Wrestle Vessel.
The official Twitter account of Dark Side of the Ring then shared a videoclip of D’Lo Brown recalling a funny incident during a match he had with Owen in the late 90s.
