-- WWE has added another name to their Smackdown creative writing team and he's someone who is not only a veteran of the wrestling industry, but an individual who some long-time WWE fans might remember. The person in question is Eric Watts, who has over a decade of experience as a pro wrestler, has joined Smackdown full-time as a writer, according to fightfulselect.com.
-- Watts, who is not the same person as Erik Watts - the sone of Bill Watts - is also a former Tough Enough participant, having competed in the series back in 2011 where he was the seventh contestant eliminated. While he never wrestled for WWE, Watts went onto wrestle extensively under his name (including with TNA in 2019 and on AEW Dark in 2020) and also did some ad-hoc "extra work" for WWE.
