WWE Advises Employees Of New Company Policy Regarding Severance Pay

WWE employees learned of a significant change in the way the company handles severance packages earlier today.

According to a pwinsider.com report, WWE sent out an internal memo to employees indicating that they are implementing a new severance policy and that it takes effective immediately. In the past, WWE employees were given a severance that was equal to one month's worth of salary for every year that they were with the company. However, moving forward they are scaling that back to two weeks' worth of salary for every year of service and there would be additional caps in place based on management level of the employee. WWE noted that this is to align with TKO's policy.

The report adds that WWE employees are understandably upset and it has been a "major blow" to morale especially given that in recent times, many employees have taken on additional responsibilities with WWE being absorbed under the Endeavor/TKO umbrella.
