WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio has been involved in a storyline with his son Dominik Mysterio for the past number of months, which started at Clash At The Castle back in September when Dominik hit a low-blow on WWE Hall of Famer Edge and laid out his father Rey Mysterio. This would then be followed by a few months of torment and agonizing pain at the hands of The Judgment Day, especially Dominik towards WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio until Rey couldn't take it anymore and they would finally have a match at WrestleMania 39.
The Judgment Day and the LWO have continued their heated rivalry since then and have faced each other in a series of matches, including when Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega defeated Dominik Mysterio and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley in a Mixed Tag Team Match on the May 5 episode of SmackDown in Puerto Rico. WWE recently announced that WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio will take on Dominik Mysterio in the first-ever Father’s Day Street Fight next Sunday, June 18th, which is Father's Day, inside the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia at the scheduled WWE Live Event. The live event will also feature WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins defending his championship against The Miz in the main event.
