WWE Announces Huge Change To Winners Take All Match At WWE WrestleMania Backlash

A few weeks ago on WWE SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns told The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) that The Bloodline still has a lot to accomplish and he wants Jey and Jimmy to go to WWE RAW and bring him the WWE RAW Tag Team Titles, currently held by RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle). The Usos and RK-Bro would then have a confrontation at the end of WWE RAW a few days later, which led to a matchup between The Usos and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). The Usos would then pick up the big victory and have a face-to-face confrontation once again with RK-Bro and end the night holding up both the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) would then appear on WWE SmackDown several days later to confront the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions and accept their challenge. WWE would then confirm that RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro will battle SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a Winners Take All Championship Unification Match for both the RAW and SmackDOwn Tag Team Championships at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

The Winners Take All Championship Unification Match will no longer take place as last night's episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw a contract signing happen between RK-Bro and The Usos for the Title Unification Match. Before the match could even be made official, a brawl would ensue and Reigns would make his way out to help The Usos beat Randy Orton and Riddle down. The Tribal Chief then grabbed the contract, ripped it up and shoved it down Riddle’s mouth. Drew McIntyre's music would then hit and he would make his way down to the ring to even the odds.

Later on the broadcast, Paul Heyman confronted WWE official Adam Pearce backstage and talked him into changing the Winners Take All Match to a Six-Man Tag Team Match and WWE confirmed that Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Riddle will face Roman Reigns and The Usos in a Non-Title Six-Man Tag Team Matchup at WWE WrestleMania Backlash. There is no word yet on if WWE will change another match during WWE RAW on Monday night or next Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.

WWE WrestleMania Backlash is set to take place on Sunday, May 8th inside the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
