WWE Announces NXT Great American Bash To Air On Same Day As AEW Forbidden Door & TNA Slammiversary

WWE announced the date for this year's NXT Great American Bash premium live event and the choice is sure to raise some eyebrows.

NXT authority Shawn Michaels announced that Great American Bash will air on June 28 at 7 PM ET and it will be live on CW - the first NXT show that will be on the network after the two sides agreed to a new multi-year deal.

That date might look familiar with astute wrestling fans as it is the same day that not only is AEW holding Forbidden Door but TNA will be airing Slammiversary. NXT Great American Bash will air head-to-head against Forbidden Door while Slammiversary avoids a direct clash by taking place in the afternoon.
