WWE Announces Storyline Suspension And Fine For Charlotte Flair

Immediately following the closing segment of last night's episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE made a big announcement that Charlotte Flair has indefinitely been suspended and she has even been fined a total of $100,000. The main event of last night's RAW episode featured Charlotte Flair taking on Asuka with RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley watching from ringside.

Charlotte Flair was about to defeat Asuka with her Figure Eight when Ripley interfered from ringside. The distraction would allow Asuka to defeat Charlotte Flair out of nowhere via pinfall. This then led to Charlotte Flair arguing with the referee, then she just completely lost it. Charlotte laid out the referee in the match until other officials made their way down to the ring to send her to the back.

Charlotte continued to keep coming back to inflict more damage on referee Eddie Orengo until RAW went off the air. According to WWE's announcement, WWE official Adam Pearce ordered the $100,000 fine, and Charlotte Flair being suspended indefinitely.

There is no word yet on when the storyline suspension of Charlotte will be lifted as it has been said that she will battle Asuka and RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match for Ripley's RAW Women's Title at WrestleMania Backlash on May 16, but it remains to be seen if that match will be happening.
