-- In separate videos on Raw last night, WWE announced that two injured superstars would be returning in the near future. The first is Sami Zayn, who underwent double rotator cuff surgery over the summer and was expected back shortly before WrestleMania 35. Zayn posted the following in response to the teaser of his return:
During this time off, I've been working on becoming a better person, and letting go of a lot of toxic elements that come with egotism & ambition.
But I just watched that teaser for my return on #Raw and remembered how good I am at pro wrestling. I actually forgot how great I am.— Sami Zayn (@SamiZayn) December 18, 2018
-- The other star who was announced as returning "soon" is Zayn's sometime friend, sometime enemy, Kevin Owens. Owens has been sidelined since October after undergoing double knee surgery. The surgeries were not considered major and Owens was also expected back before WrestleMania.
