WWE The Bump (4/27)

-Byron, Matt, and Ryan welcome the viewers onboard, and Byron gives a rundown of today’s lineup.
-The Bump crew share their thoughts on Smackdown and Monday Night Raw, until Omos & MVP enter the studio.

MVP & Omos

In the midst of an ongoing feud with Bobby Lashley, Omos and MVP have a few comments for the WWE Universe. Byron fires away with questions, and asks Omos how he’s feeling today. Omos says “amazing.” Byron asks MVP the same question, and MVP says “first things first… Omos are you comfortable? Is there enough space for you in the room? I know Byron’s ego takes up alot of space, and you’re a large man.” Omos says there’s enough room, and MVP goes on to say “Byron, some may call you the Swiss Army knife of WWE, but I call you the toilet of WWE.” Matt enters the chat, and he wonders how Omos will fare with MVP in his corner at WrestleMania Backlash. MVP explains “just look at that specimen sitting next to you! He’s bigger than Andre The Giant, stronger than Big E, and he’s obviously smarter than Bobby Lashley. This right here is the future of WWE. The biggest, the brightest, and I’m quite proud of our new business relationship. Matt takes Omos back to WrestleMania, and he wants to know how Omos has dealt with the loss to Lashley. Omos explains “very upsetting, but I’ve learned from it. It’s never going to happen again.” Byron thanks both men for stopping by, and the interview comes to a close.

-Matt and Ryan preview the upcoming episode of Smackdown, until Byron welcomes on the next guest.

Drew Gulak

After weeks of issues with Smackdown’s top women’s division stars, Drew Gulak is with The Bump crew, who has a few questions for the master of the PowerPoint presentation. Byron recaps the last two weeks for Gulak, and he wants to know how Drew is feeling. Gulak says “sore!” Drew goes on to say “particularly in the arm, and the knee.” Byron asks Gulak to walk the viewers through the attack he suffered from Ronda Rousey, and Drew explains “Ronda fireman’s carried me, she slammed me into the ground. I was just trying to hand her the contract, and she applied the arm bar. Which you know, fortunately I’m not allowed to retaliate in that situation…” Matt jumps in, and he wonders if Drew is “assistant General Manager or an assistant to the General Manager.” Drew replies “you can take your pick.” The Bump crew thank’s Randy for stopping by, and it’s time for the next segment.

-Kayla announces the lineup for next week’s episode of The Bump, and welcomes on today’s final guest.

Solo Sikoa

Ahead of his North American championship opportunity at NXT 2.0’s Spring Breakin’ event, Solo Sikoa joins The Bump crew via zoom. Byron kicks off the interview by asking Solo how he’s feeling this morning, after picking up a victory on Tuesday’s NXT 2.0. Solo says “it was just another win. It was someone in my way that was stopping me from getting to the North American Champion. Anybody that’s gonna get in my way, they gonna get this work too. It was just an easy W.” Byron changes gears, and he wants to know about Sikoa’s game plan headed into the match with Cameron Grimes and Carmelo Hayes. Solo explains “well, Cameron Grimes is an all around wrestler. Carmelo is fast, high flying, and then you got a powerhouse like me. It’s kinda like watching superhero’s, like Hulk, Spider-Man, and Batman! Obviously you know which one is the Hulk.” Matt makes his presence felt, and he wants to know about Solo’s experience at Stand & Deliver. Sikoa says “it felt good man. It felt like, you know, we went out there and put on a show. We were in front of a bigger crowd, and ran a different state, so to put on a big show was amazing. I think I showed the world who Solo Sikoa is.” Sikoa makes his exit from the show, and the final interview of the day is in the books.

-Ryan and Matt hype tomorrow’s edition of NXT UK, and The Bump fades to black.

That’s all for this week’s episode of The Bump! Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your day!
