Raquel Rodriguez
Just days after she answered Ronda Rousey’s Smackdown Women’s Championship Open Challenge, Raquel Rodriguez has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Kayla kicks off the interview, and she wonders if Raquel ever imagined she would face Ronda Rousey. Raquel says “no, not this early on. Im still getting used to being on the main roster, on the blue brand, and it was a career changing opportunity. I had to give it 100%.” Matt chimes in, and he wants to know what Rodriguez learned from the bout. Raquel explains “I learned to get back up, and brush it off. To me, it’s a learning experience, so I can get better knowledge on how to defeat people like Ronda.” Ryan enters the chat, and he has a Twitter question from a member of the WWE Universe. The fan wants to know where Raquel ranks Ronda Rousey on the list of opponents she’s faced, and Rodriguez tells the fan “I rank the match at the top, if not one, then two. It was a mental battle the entire time. It’s definitely one of the top.” Kayla thanks both men for stopping by, and the interview comes to a close.
-Matt and Ryan preview the upcoming episode of Smackdown, until Kayla welcomes on the next guest.
Adam Pearce
Coming off of the heels of a busy night on Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce is with The Bump crew, who’s ready to ask the WWE Official a few questions. Kayla dives right in, and says Adam has “some news.” Pearce explains “after what took place on Monday, Sonya Deville has been fined for putting her hands on a referee. I’m going to keep the amount between Sonya and I, but let’s just be suffice, and say that this will be inhibited going forward. I think Sonya will have learned a lesson.” Matt shows Adam a clip of the moment Pearce terminated Sonya Deville’s contract as an official, and he wonders if Pearce is looking for a replacement Official. Adam says “I feel like the experiment of bringing Sonya on kind of split the authority.” Pearce goes on to say “I think it’s an increased workload, but it will be easier for me to show what I can do myself.” Ryan joins the fun, and he points out a few of the “good times” Pearce had working with Deville. Ryan asks Adam if he’ll miss Sonya, and Pearce tells viewers “oh for sure. We were on the same page many times, and those will be the times I look back on.” The Bump crew thank’s Adam for stopping by, and it’s time for the next segment.
-Kayla announces the lineup for next week’s episode of The Bump, and welcomes on today’s final guest.
Mustafa Ali
Two days removed from an unscheduled match with Veer Mahan, Mustafa Ali joins The Bump crew via zoom, and the final interview is underway! Kayla asks Mustafa how he’s feeling after the latest episode of Raw, and Ali explains “you know, to me, every Monday I show up to work. I’m dealing with Ciampa, The Miz, Theory, and now Veer. So, for me, from my aspect, it took three guys to put me down this week. At one point, Im going to get Theory in the ring, and I’m going to win the United States Championship.” Matt asks Mustafa to share his opinion of Veer, and Ali says “he’s big, and he’s bad, and he moves fast… but every time I got rocking and rolling The Miz would get involved.” Mustafa continues “I would love to get back in the ring with Veer, and I got a bloody nose on Monday, so I kinda owe him one.” Ryan makes his presence felt for the final time, and he’s standing by with the a Twitter question. A fan asks Mustafa about the future of his current stint on Raw, and she wants to know what’s next for Ali. Mustafa says “I really don’t know. I feel like there’s some kind of sign in the universe telling me what’s next. I’m not quite sure what’s next, but who knows.” Ali makes his exit from the show, and the final interview of the day is in the books.
-Ryan and Matt hype tomorrow’s edition of NXT UK, and The Bump fades to black.
That’s all for this week’s episode of The Bump! Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your day!
