-The Bump crew share their thoughts on the latest episodes of Smackdown and Monday Night Raw, until JBL checks in.

JBL

In the midst of a golf trip to Maine, WWE Hall Of Famer JBL joins The Bump crew, and the first interview is underway! Kayla begins by asking the former WWE Champion how he’s feeling, and Bradshaw explains “I’ve been fantastic! Things are well, I’ll be heading out to Vegas for Money In The Bank soon, which Im very excited about! Ryan enters the chat, and turns his attention to John Cena. Ryan mentions a few of the classic John Cena matches that JBL has provided commentary for, and he wants to know what the atmosphere is like when Cena performs. Bradshaw explains “I came up with the nickname ‘Big Match John’ because of Big Shot Rob.” You know? He (John Cena) just had a knack for big moments.” JBL goes on to say “I’ll tell you the best match I’ve nearly ever seen, it was Cena against Umaga… I remember watching it in awe, and going ‘that’s why they love this business’. That match was so freaking good! You forget some of the matches, but that was one of the best I’ve ever seen.” Matt chimes in, who wants to know the differences between competing against John Cena, and calling a Cena match from ringside. JBL tells Matt “i just used to sit there and view his matches as a fan. I would think ‘I wish I was in there’. You sit there watching it, hoping everything goes fine, and you root for him. You hope to see him have a good match. He’s a master at what he does, and he had that from the very beginning.” Kayla brings the interview to a close, and the show rolls on to the next segment.

-Matt and Ryan preview the upcoming episode of Smackdown, until Kayla welcomes on the final guest.

Sami Zayn

Ahead of Money In The Bank in Las Vegas, Sami Zayn has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Matt kicks off the interview, and asks Sami about his recent Smackdown victory over Shinsuke Nakamura, which earned the “Honorary Uce” a spot in the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Zayn reflects on the win, and tells viewers “you know, clean as a whistle, no shenanigans… this was straight up wrestling, and the better man won!” Sami goes on to say “add to the fact that now, the win puts me in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. What an opportunity! I feel like the stars are aligning quite nice for myself lately.” Kayla shows Sami a clip from later in the night, and asks Zayn to elaborate on his comments to Paul Heyman. ‘The Great Liberator’ explains “first, let’s touch on the top part of video. Kayla, you try to stir the pot, and you’re trying to put words in my mouth. As if I would prey on Roman Reigns. I’m not here to disrupt the order of things at this particular time.” Sami continues “I’m trying to keep things together. That’s what a leader does! I run a tight ship. So with the contract in my possession, I can keep the order of things. That means Roman doesn’t have to look over his shoulder every two minutes! He doesn’t have to worry, because it stays in house.” Sami closes by saying “if Brock Lesnar has the title, then no problem, I’d cash in and become Champion. But as long as Roman Reigns has the Undisputed Universal Championship, it’s safe with me as Money In The Bank contract holder. That’s all I’m saying!” Sami makes his exit from the show, and the final interview of the day is in the books.

-Ryan and Matt hype tomorrow’s edition of NXT UK, and The Bump fades to black.

That’s all for this week’s episode of The Bump! Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your day!
