Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Rajah.Com recap of WWE’s The Bump.
The latest episode of The Bump featured Monday Night Raw Superstar Ciampa, as well as former WWE Official Sonya Deville. Check it out:
WWE The Bump (6/8)
-Kayla and Matt welcome the viewers onboard, and Kayla gives a rundown of today’s lineup.
-The Bump crew share their thoughts on Smackdown and Monday Night Raw, until Sonya Deville joins The Bump crew.
Sonya Deville
In the midst of Pride Month, Sonya Deville joins The Bump crew, and she’s here to share her thoughts on the festivities. Kayla asks Sonya how she’s feeling this morning, and Deville explains “I am great, I am so excited to be here!” Kayla follows up by asking Sonya about Pride Month, and Deville tells viewers “Happy Pride Month!” Sonya goes on to say “it means so many different things to me, it always means something different.” Sonya continues by saying “with the comfort I have in my own skin, I want to use my platform and my voice for people who don’t have it yet.” Kayla changes gears, and she wonders if Sonya misses her job as a WWE Official. Deville says “I didn’t lose any power. Am I still a WWE Official? No. But I am in control of my life. Whether I have a position of power in or out of the ring, I am always in power.” Kayla thanks Sonya for stopping by, and the interview comes to a close.
-Matt and Ryan preview the upcoming episode of Smackdown, until Kayla welcomes on the final guest.
Ciampa
Following a surprise attack on Riddle, Ciampa has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Kayla dives right into the matter at hand, and she wants to know why Ciampa decided to deliver a beatdown to Riddle. Ciampa explains “I mean, you’ve got to have eyes in the back of your head. It’s kind of one of those things where you can’t wait for an opportunity. Riddle is on fire right now, so he seems like kind of a good target.” Matt joins the fun, and he wants to know more about Ciampa’s relationship with The Miz. Ciampa tells Matt “it’s all been happenstance.” Ciampa goes on to say “just like Riddle, he just so happened to be on Miz TV.” Matt changes gears, and he wants to know how Ciampa had adjusted to life on Monday Night Raw, after making the move from NXT 2.0. Ciampa says “it’s exactly what I thought it would be, kind of like a slow burn, same as the way I started in NXT. You’ve got to wait, and take advantage of your opportunity when it comes, and make the most of it. When my turn comes, I’ll be prepared for it.” Ciampa makes his exit from the show, and the final interview of the day is in the books.
-Kayla and Matt hype tomorrow’s edition of NXT UK, and The Bump fades to black.
